TeaBag Folding Technique

I found a site that teaches some basic fold, the site is no long maintained, but the information is quite good with plenty of instructions... though it looks like its been copied from a book. Anyways, here it is...

This page is for you to learn the Standard Kite fold. This fold can make you quite a few medallions for your card making. Just follow these instructions to create this simple fold.

  1. Make sure that the tile is face down on the position shown
  2. Fold corner B over to A and crease to form a centre crease
  3. Unfold. You should now have a centre crease as show with a dashed line in the picture
  4. Fold A to the X on the centre crease and crease. You now have a half a Standard Kite Fold
  5. Repeat with B
  6. Turn your tile over so that the design is face up. Well done you have completed the Standard Kite Fold. This is what I call Kite Fold Design A
  7. Rotate 180 Degrees. This is what I call Kite Fold Design B
  8. Following instructions until step 5, now fold in half again on the centre line. This is what I call Kite Fold Design C
